Im Dickicht Necken
Public Art at Gropiusstadt, Berlin Wood, Laminat, LED - Lightstripes, 2013
Three light installations on the top of and in a parking lot in Berlin-Gropiusstadt play linguistically with the specific urban space and urban planning in Gropiusstadt – a large house estate built in the 1960s. The texts and LED - lights are counteracted to the parking lot as a space of fear and show it in a jocular way as an alternative use of space.
In cooperation with Gropiusstadt - wie gewohnt? by Friederike Bauer and Stephanie Hausdorf and with the Akademie einer neuen Gropiusstadt.
Founded by: Quartiermanagments Lipschitzsallee / Gropiusstadt aus Mitteln der Europäischen Union, der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und des Landes Berlin über das Programm Soziale Stadt.
